Cristina Barrios is currently a sophomore at UF and majoring in history and classical studies. She joined MUN in her first year of college and fell in love with it since, competing in conferences across the country and meeting so many amazing people. Joining this club has brought her so many opportunities, and she hopes SwampMUN can be that for you. Outside of MUN, she likes to read, swim, and spend time with her friends. She is also the secretary for the UF classics honor society, ETA Sigma Phi, a member of the Inter-Residence Housing Association, and a part of the Gator Philharmonic Orchestra. If you have any questions regarding the conference, do not hesitate to reach out!

Lillian Rodonich is currently a junior at UF majoring in English on the pre-law track, looking to pursue a criminology major and legal histories certificate alongside it. She started Model UN in her junior year of high school and fell in love with its fast-paced, resolution-oriented nature. She became a part of SwampMUN secretariat because she wants to introduce delegates to the opportunities that Model UN has to offer. Outside of this, she likes to draw and keep up with baseball and softball. Lillian is also a part of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society and speaks a total of four languages.

Lindsey Millis is a sophomore at UF with a pre-nursing major and an early childhood studies minor. Outside of Model UN she is in the pre-nursing associate and is the president of Phi Sigma Pi honors fraternity.
Michel Jijon will serve as the Director General of GatorMUN XXIII and the lead organizer of SwampMUN I. He is a fourth-year student at the University of Florida pursuing a dual bachelor's degree in Political Science and Music.
Although Michel did not have the opportunity to participate in Model UN during high school, he began his MUN journey at UF, where he joined the UF MUN team and quickly developed into a competitive delegate. During his time in the club, Michel discovered that his greatest strength lay in mentoring others, eventually becoming a teacher and leader within the organization.
Michel’s GatorMUN career began at GatorMUN XX as a crisis backroom staffer, where he supported high school delegates in executing their committee goals. The following year, he directed the SpongeBob crisis committee at GatorMUN XXI, leading a talented team of staffers and earning recognition for his impact on delegates. His success led to his appointment as Chief of Staff for GatorMUN XXII, where he oversaw a team of 130 staffers and played a key role in executing one of the conference’s most successful iterations.
Now, as Director General of GatorMUN XXIII, Michel has also been nominated to lead SwampMUN, a new initiative aimed at expanding access to Model UN for schools that have previously lacked the resources or opportunity to participate. He is thrilled to bring this vision to life alongside his team in November.
