WTO
The World Trade Organization
Tariffs, tractors, and trade talks -- welcome to the World Trade Organization (WTO)! Founded in 1995 to expand the United Nations' expertise on trade and tariffs, the WTO helps to increase accessibility and maintain smooth trade on a global scale. As the world's population continues to grow and evolve, the demands of the global community are ever changing. Delegates in the WTO will be faced with navigating the difficulties and gaps within the current trade systems as they pertain to the world's most vital products and relationships. Discussing agricultural products and trade facilitation systems, delegates in the WTO should highlight feasible yet creative solutions that can help the global community accomodate its diverse needs.
